We are on day three of the first week after Christmas break and it's the second snow day. Probably like some of you reading, my girls had one day of school after the break and then two days off. I figured we needed some structure this afternoon in order to keep us all sane. Inspired by some of their Christmas gifts (a Dr. Seuss colouring book and nail art set) we did Dr. Seuss themed activities. Here are some pics we took to document it. It was lots of fun and now they are watching The Lorax while I am writing this. Leave a comment on how you're beating the winter crazies!
We coloured and read Oh the Places You'll Go
They made a suitcase and wrote about where they would go and what they would do there.
We did a science experiment with milk, food colouring and dish soap.
They got their nails done to look like the cover of the book.
